- Contact form submissions — your name and email address when you reach out to us
- Email subscriptions — your email address if you sign up for updates
- User preferences — player follows, team follows, nationality preferences, and other settings you configure on the platform
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, browser type, and device information
- IP address — collected by our hosting and analytics infrastructure

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the GPI Sport platform
- Respond to your messages and support requests
- Send updates or newsletters (only if you've opted in)
- Analyze site traffic and understand how users engage with our content

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
GPI Sport uses third-party services for hosting, analytics, and infrastructure. These services may collect data as part of their normal operation:

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
We also use third-party data providers to power soccer statistics and match data displayed on the Site. These providers operate on the backend and do not receive or process your personal information.
GPI Sport uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate content such as player news summaries and bios. This AI processing operates on publicly available sports data and does not process your personal information.
4. Cookies
GPI Sport uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:
- Measure site traffic via Google Analytics
- Remember your preferences
- Maintain site functionality
Types of cookies we use:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function
- Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use GPI Sport.
